Common Ground Community Garden was started in 2012 to provide organic gardening opportunities for the residents in the North Park and Richmond Heights area.  It is located in the Northwest corner of G.D. Archibald Park North, on Pest Hill, east of Luther Heights at 1802 Alexandra Avenue.

Currently we have ground plots, raised bins, compost bin and a shaded seating area.  The gardens range in size from small, medium to large.  The fee for a ground plot is $20.00 per year which goes to the cost of having compost, mulch and topsoil delivered. Currently, there is no fee for the bins.  We hold regular work bees, Steering Group Committee meetings and potlucks in the summer months.

Existing and new gardeners will be required to fill out an application for the upcoming growing season at Registration Night in April.  New gardeners will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted once a plot or bin becomes available.

Our garden application form and Gardeners Agreement is located on our google page.  If you have any questions or wish to have your name placed on the waiting list for a plot or bin, or for information on upcoming events, please  join the facebook group  https://www.facebook.com/groups/153996044643142/
