Supervised Skate Times for Winter

The rink is accessible every day of the week and the lights are set to come on about 5:30 pm and shut off around 11:00 pm. However, only on the following days is the warm-up shack open and the rink supervised:

Tuesday’s 6-8 pm

Wednesday 6-8 pm

Thursday’s 6-8 pm

Saturday’s 12-2 pm

Sunday 1-4 pm

Location of Rink and Shack

The outdoor skating rink and warm-up shack are located at North Park Wilson School (1505 9th Avenue North) and are most easily accessible from Balmoral Street. The North Park Richmond Heights Community Association operates both the rink and shack.

We are always looking for volunteers to help shovel snow, flood the ice or supervise during public skating hours. If you would like to join our rink maintenance team, contact our Rink Coordinator at:

Kick Sleds

The Community Association also owns two kick sleds for use by local residents. Kick sleds are a great way to exercise or to transport your little one around the neighbourhood.
